Scott Overholser as a Professional and Expert

Scott Overholser can be considered an expert in treatment plans as he researched more than 2,000 treatment plans over a four year period. The goal of this research was to help determine why treatment was accepted and completed and why it was not. Many factors were found to contribute to acceptance and follow through, most important being a sense of value and urgency. Surprisingly, dental health and function were low on the list of important factors leading to case acceptance. These findings were presented to local dental societies, to much acclaim. Scott Overholser has served as an expert witness in multiple lawsuits involving dental malpractice.
