Dr. Scott Overholser uses several methods to deliver flawless dental work to his patients.  First, the office has a close working relationship with one of the best dental labs in Chicago.  Patients can either go directly to the lab for shade matching, or a lab technician can come to Dr. Overholser’s dental office on the day the tooth is prepped for the crown or veneer.  In less important cosmetic cases such as posterior teeth, photos are taken of the teeth in conjunction with various shade guides.  These photos are then emailed to the lab where they are analyzed in the process of choosing shade and adding any slight color variations the teeth might naturally have.
